Class requirements

2 tanks to switch on Saurfang.

The pull

The pull will be done by talking to your Faction’s Champion, he will then charge Saurfang. Your tanks should be near Saurfang before he becomes attackable.

Positions and strategy

The raid will form a semi circle around Saurfang on the balcony. This way, Blood Nova will only hit as few targets as possible.

It is imporant to note that Saurfang will gain Blood Power with damage he inflicts, either due to meleeing or abilities. With every point of Blood Power his damage increases by 1% as well, so healers need to be aware that the damage will be getting higher over time.

Once Saurfang has reached 100 Blood Power, he will cast his Mark of the Fallen Champion on a random player which hurts the player for every connecting melee hit Saurfang does. The more Mark’s he cast on the raid, the more difficult it will be to stay alive. The goal is to take Saurfang down as fast as possible to reduce the damage on the raid.

During the fight Saurfang will summon 4 Blood Beasts who will be mostly resitant to Aoe damage. These need to be pulled away from Saurang and finished off by range dps. Note that Saurfang gains Blood Power as well if his Blood Beasts manage to hurt players!

The 2 tanks will need to switch on Saurfang whenever he casts his Rune of Blood or you will end up with Saurfang healing himself.

At 30% health Saurfang will Frenzy and increase his attack speed, also increasing the speed at which he gains Blood Power.

10 Player Difficulty

Saurfang will only summon 2 Blood Beasts.
