Abilities

Lord Marrowgar:

Saber Lash (Physical) – Splits 300% of normal melee damage to an enemy and its two nearest allies – hopefully tanks.
Bone Storm (Physical) – Attacks nearby enemies in a whirlwind of bone for one minute.
Coldflame (Frost) – Deals a shitload of Frost Damage to everyone nearby.
Impaled (Physical) – Deals 10% health as damage each second and stuns until the Bone Spike is destroyed.

Class requirements

3 tanks required to share the damage of Saber Lash.

The pull

Pulling will be done by the tanks moving in as a group to make sure Saber Lash doesn’t finish off a tank early.

Positions and strategy

The boss will be fought in the position he’s in at the start of the encounter. All 3 tanks will stand at the same spot tanking the boss to share the additional damage of Saber Lash.

During the encounter Marrowgar will let lose Coldflames on the ground which grow into the room like a snake starting at Marrowgar’s position. The raid needs to dodge those flames and don’t get caught standing in them for too long.

Also, 3 raid members will randomly get impaled by Marrowgar, taking damage and being stuned as long as the Bone Spike the players are impaled on is existant. Destroying those Spikes is the highest priority of everyone in the raid!

After a while Marrowgar will cast Bone Storm and whirlwind through the room. During this phase he can’t be tanked and everyone in his near surrounding will take damage. Be aware that his threat table resets after this phase, so it’s likely that you will pull the boss if you are too hasty with the damage. Give the tanks some seconds to get threat back.

It’s important that all tanks move as a team after the Bone Storm or you will end up with losing tanks due to his Saber Lash! Move the boss back into the center of the room so your raid can spread out again.

Rince and repeat this until the boss is dead.

10 Player Difficulty

Only one person will be impaled and only 2 tanks are required for Saber Lash.
