Class requirements
No requirements in particular.
The pull
The MT will pull Grobbulus when he comes down from his ramp and runs with him to the northern wall.
Positions and strategy
Because Grobbulus drops disease clouds every some seconds at his feet the idea in this fight is to move him around in a circle along the edges of the room. This will allow the MT to move Grobbulus out of the clouds as soon as they are dropped, saving your melee dps of unnecessary damage and allowing your range dps to literally stand at the same spot casting spells.
When a member of the raid is inflicted with the Mutating Injection, he moves to the area Grobbulus was in last – which is usually an area already covered by green clouds. That way you don’t interrupt the circle tanking and make it chaotic. Healers need to look after you though, as you will take damage in the green clouds.
Once Grobbulus spawns some slime in front of him, they will be taken away from the raid by the OTs and then killed by the range dps. Because of their damage aura, meele dps doesn’t have to worry about them.
You repeat this until Grobbulus is dead. Once he is low on health, you may consider just tanking the slimes and finish of the boss first, but that depends on how high your dps is.
Normal Difficulty
The tactic doesn’t differ on normal difficulty.
