The pull
The MT will attack the boss where he stands and turns him around, his back is facing the doorway.
Positions and strategy
You may have noticed while reading the abilities that this boss stops ALL healing for 17 seconds while fightin’ him. During that time your heals are useless, so you need to use other abilities to prevent damage on the raid and/or the MT, like shields for example. The aura lasts 17 seconds, so you have a full 3 seconds to heal up the whole raid before he casts his next aura. So, AoE heals are a must here!
But that’s not all. This boss also has a whole friggin’ 20 million health! That’s quite a lot on first sight, but there’s a little trick to this fight that makes healing as well as damaging easier. During the fight multiple Spores will spawn. They don’t do damage and usually follow a straight line through the room.
Now, the trick is, that the Spores buff you with Fungal Creep and thus increasing your crit rate by 50% flat! This counts for healing as well as damaging, so your usual dps person should look at a crit rate of 80% or higher now.
Note though, that only 5 people can gain the Fungal Creep at a time and they need to stand close to the Spore as well. So if you just run ahead, kill the Spore and gain the buff alone, you reduced the chance for a win by a small margin. So, be a team player!
