Abilities

Phase 1 features Feugen and Stalagg.

Feugen:

Static Field (Nature) – Deals 3500 Nature damage to all nearby enemy targets every 6 seconds.
Magnetic Pull (Debuff) – Pulls the other tank from the opposite platform to the caster.

Stalagg:

Power Surge (Buff) – Increases the caster’s attack speed by 200% for 10 seconds.
Magnetic Pull (Debuff) – Pulls the other tank from the opposite platform to the caster.

Phase 2 is only Thadius.

Chain Lightning (Nature) – Your Shaman standard spell. Just with more umphf.
Polarity Shift (Debuff) – Places Charges on the raid, players near other players with the same Charge type increases each their damage dealt. Players near other players with the opposite Charge type deal damage to nearby raid members:

Class requirements

Two tanks is essential.

The pull

The raid leader splits the raid up into 2 teams, with similar DPS capability. Each team will then take positions before one of the two platforms connected to the entrance pathway, and then the two tanks will pull their respective miniboss at the same time.

Positions and strategy

Phase 1:

The only things that seperate the miniboss phase from any regular tank-and-spank encounter is that they regulary switch tanks with that of the other platform, tossing them through the air like a volleyall. Also, they need to die at nearly the same time.
When they do, the next phase starts and Thaddius jolts to life after a few seconds.

Phase 2:

Thaddius has huge amounts of HP, so would be next to impossible to kill in the usual space of the enrage timer, however he has ability which will boost the damage output of the raid considerably: Polarity Shift.

At regular intervals, Thaddius will cast this which will cause all raid members in the room to gain a debuff, which is either Negative or Positive Charge (indicated by a big + or – sign). Standing next to people with your debuff type will increase both your damage output, standing next to someone with the other type will cause havoc and likely a wipe if too many do it.

The tactic here is to continously stay within range of the boss while simultanously staying away from your comrades with the opposite charge debuff. This is done by seperating the raid into a negative team, and a positive team. Negative team stands on thaddius’s left side (seen from the entrance door) and positive team stands on the right side. Whenever he has cast Polarity Shift everyone in the raid must quickly, and without fail, verify which team they belong to. If your team polarity has shifted to the other type, make your way around the boss in a clockwise rotation to reach your polarity mates, and continue fighting once you get there. If you do not do this, you will die. No, seriously, you will. Don’t ever miss a polarity shift.

It also needs to be mentioned that if you screw up, like dying during the fight or missing the jump to thaddius’s platform, you will need to wait to get a charge before joining the fray. Anyone without a charge will take damage from anyone with one, so if you jump in too early after being combat ressed you will just die.
