Heroes

There is no doubt that every member of AoT past, present and future makes a real difference to the guild. Everyone brings their own sense of personality and style to our family - it makes us very diverse and a great place to be. In many respects every single member of AoT deserves a place on this list.

However, every now and then a player stands out, and the entire guild recognises that they are bringing to us something a little more… Players that through their actions have changed AoT for the better. Players that have left or are leaving a real legacy on the guild.

Nominated and voted for by the current guild, these players make up our Hall of Heroes, and the players within are examples of the best of AoT.

As a guild we thank them for being part of our family and their efforts. It is our highest honour and we salute you...

Nemex The human monk from EQ who's real life persona matched that of his Buddha like online character. His game knowledge, sense of tactics and exceptional play skills were universally respected by the guild and the server as a whole. His mature way of approaching a new challenge is the cornerstone of our raiding practices today.
….With AoT through most of our EQ years, with us on Dragonblight for a short while
Yanne Warriors don’t come any more stereotypical. A man of few words, yet a tank of exceptional skill. His commitment to level up and provide AoT with another raid tank capable of withstanding our learning curve through the Planes of Power in EQ, is one of the fundamental reason why the guild achieved what we did in that game. A trusted, solid individual who’s online persona protected us and saved our lives over and over.
…..With us for over 2 years though EQ, now waving our banner still as part of NDA in EQ1.
Largoo An officer of great skill, relaxed persona and a long term vision that meant he was a cornerstone though the good and more importantly the dark days of AoT. A friend to many and the peoples champion. Largoo was also a very skilled warrior and raid tank.
Conjure Leader of AoT in Everquest through some of our darkest times. The moment in every guilds life where the high end players get bored and the mid level players feel left out. Conjure united the guild with a sense of spirit and community that runs throughout AoT today still.
…..MIA…thought to be dealing with real life concerns
Kobite One of the first members of AoT, and considered by many to be our finest ever healing class player. A real sense of adventure, always wanting to push the boundaries. His play skills combined with his sense of fun made Kobby a favourite grouping partner of many within AoT.
…..Sadly playing WoW on a different server.
Qujam AoT’s first guild leader. The man who lead the guild through its first infant steps.
Whilst he left us to pursue other interests a while ago now, his foundations ensured that we have stood the test of time thus far…
Still to be found playing Everquest
Winter For many Winters skills as an enchanter in EQ were only matched by his insane humour. A really nice guy. His legacy to AoT though stems for the fact that when we had no one else to do the enchanting job on our raids, he kept logging on. Week after week, month after month, doing the vital job alone to ensure that we maintained our growth through our raid progression. Without his commitment we would never have achieved so much.
…..Sadly playing WoW on a different server, but has been seen playing an alt on Dragonblight.
Senseijinxer No one person has summed up AoT’s zany attitude and humour as Sensie. 100% loyal to AoT, his daily humour and unending capacity to charge in where angels fear to tread are the stuff of AoT legend. Many a raid was brought from the “normal” to the “great fun for all”, by Sensei’s ability to lighten the mood.
…. carrying our torch (and making truly dreadful hats) in EQ2
Yillian Yillian’s play skills and tactical mastery is only matched by his unimaginative names for his ALT characters! Often outspoken critic of AoT management, he has provided the opposition when it was needed the most. Ever present on major AoT events and in major AoT decisions, Yillian is in many ways responsible for the guild we have today.
…With us through most of our EQ years, and most of WoW.
Lyren One of the cornerstones of AoT. Lyren’s never ending commitment to the guild and the jobs that keep it running, has served AoT well over the years. His quirky humour is only matched by his generosity. A skilled player, who never believes that he is.
AoT would not be AoT without Lyren.
…With us through most of our EQ years, and WoW. Still to be found lurking around the nearest tree....
Fell Sharp commentary, enormous generosity, guild spirit, sense of exploration, are some of the phrases that have been used to describe Fell.
A very active member of AoT since joining almost 3 years ago, he has been at the forefront of all things we have done as a guild. Specialist in support classes and a keen alchemist; First with his Shaman Felcard in Everquest, now with Fell the Priest here in WoW. No AoT event would be complete without Fell's dedicated efforts behind the front lines. Add to this his extremely popular and jolly persona and his place in this list is long overdue...Played with us in WoW for the best part of two years, now back in EQ
Welkrin Welkrin/Thalas was one of AoT's very first members.
Since day one he has been an active, committed player. Becoming an officer, guild banker and raid manager, as well as guild leader for a short time. With his continued, relentless efforts for our team he has been instrumental in helping us achieve both our goals in EQ and in getting our guild back together in WoW. He currently runs our social calendar and is one of our morale officers.
His knowledge of the games he plays with us is only matched by his 100% generosity.
Littlegem / Phase Phase's drive, vision and determination have made AoT what it is today - he stands head and shoulders above all of us. In Everquest he took a guild that was on the verge of imploding and rebuilt it into a force to be reckoned with earning us and him recognition server wide. He then moved to WoW bringing a few of the old school with him - more and more followed and were soon joined by new friends as we started to build the guild. He set foundations and principles in place that make AoT a unique place to be.

Famous for his swearing when things don't go as planned and also for his imaginative approach to spelling in times of stress (Ginmats anyone ?) he is focused and driven with a 'lets just do it' attitude. A true friend who will be remembered by all those who dealt with him as a superb tactician and the greatest Guild Leader that AoT has had.

Phase made his triumphant return in mid-TBC on his mage Littlegem and has worked his way up to raid team leader in WotLK, a fitting post for him.

Brazen

Brazen has been a member of AOT since August 2005. During that time, he has steadily assumed more responsibility, first as Paladin class leader, then as Officer. His wise counsel was recognized when elected as deputy guild leader in 2006, and at the beginning of 2007 Braze assumed the mantle of Guild Master for AOT. At a time when raid leaders were sorely needed, Braze took on that responsibility as well.

During that that time he has proved to be an exceptional leader. From keeping a cool head under demanding circumstances to always having an ear to listen to people, from always helping out fellow guildies to always ensuring that the guild stays on course and true to its ideals, Braze is truly a man of the people. As the guild’s sole Paladin tank, Braze has proved to be an outstanding player and redefined the role in AOT’s raids.

There can be no more deserving recipient of AOT’s highest honour!

Aethorn

Aethorn has served AoT as both an officer (in EQ) and a class leader and was often the druid all others would turn to for advice on play, gear and spec. With a knack for number crunching Aeth has provided many valuable insights into game mechanics and helped many players improve. An all round 'nice guy' with a love for cheese twirls, Aeth is currently taking a break from WoW, but we hope to see him back in action soon.

Kinetic Kinetic took on the job as AoT's main Raid Leader and Raid Strategist shortly after the release of The Burning Crusade. His dedication, attention to detail and perseverance are a substantial part of AOT's succesful post-TBC raiding progress. Maulgar, Gruul, Magtheridon, Hydross and Lurker would not be lying dead at the feet of AOT today if it hadn't been for Kin.

His drive as an officer and Mage class-leader have helped to shape AOT into one of the leading guilds of Dragonblight. AOT would not be what it is without him.

Marinson Marinson has served as warrior class leader and as an officer. He was responsible for organising many of our twenty man runs pre-TBC and has helped many tanks perfect their play style and skills. He has worked hard for the guild, he became our most valued raid tank and, for many a valued friend.
Kraghe Kraghe joined AoT in late 2005 and since that time he has proven to be one of the most dependable raiders AoT has ever known. A quiet person by nature, Kraghe is an extremely gifted player. His skill as a paladin healer is unsurpassed and after changes were made to the class in patch 2.3, Kraghe has proven he can kill just as easily as he heals. He has also provided much needed support to the DKP team.
