Class requirements

At least 2 tanks for Kologarn. If you feel unlucky, bring an additional tank for the Rubble adds.

The pull

Pulling will be done by the MT running in on Kologarn and tanking where his body is at. Charge doesn't work.

Positions and strategy

Kologarn's right and left arm are 2 entities in this fight, both having 2 unique abilities that Kologarn can't use if that arm is destroyed. You can't pull aggro of the arms and they won't attack you in melee range. If one arm dies, Kologarn takes 15% damage instantly. Also Rubble will spawn below that arm.

All dps will start attacking the right arm and make sure this one goes down first. During the fight, the right arm will grip people randomly that need to be healed quickly to not die. Also the raid will take damage due to the shockwave of the left arm.

The MTs will switch tanking Kologarn whenever one of them gains the 25% armor decrease. Once an arm dies, the OT (or the free MT) will tank the spawning adds and those will be killed of by range dps while melee dps is either attacking the torso or the other arm. This is up to the raid leader.

After a while the destroyed arm will spawn again and all dps will continue attack it, starting with the right arm if it's up. The right arm always has priority due to it's Stone Grip.

Also people will need to look out for the eyebeam in this encounter. If you happen to get targeted, you can just outrun the eyebeam, but try to not get near other raid members or they will take damage as well.

Normal Difficulty

He will only grip one person at a time.
