Each and every member of the Ambassadors of Truth over the years made a difference. The guild evolved around them, retaining our core principles, but adjusting to our members just as much as we adjusted to the game. However, there are some who, after long inactivity, are still remembered, and in heated discussions are evoked via the mantra: “What would they have said?”
The Legend of AoT rank is our newest addition to honour those members whose ghosts still haunt our minds – and occasionally forums – but who did not reach the Hero rank before they left the guild for good.
It is to be seen as a list of people who should not be forgotten, who actively shaped the guild in their own way, and who still serve as moral support throughout the years. Or just those we fondly remember for their quirky habits. Thanks to them, we have become what we are today.
Spuge joined AoT in September 2005 and quickly established himself as a valued member. His knowledge of not only his class but of game mechanics in general ensured that his advice would often be sought after by many in the guild. An outspoken critic, Spuge usually took on the role of Devil’s Advocate. He constantly challenged the “norm” by offering alternative ideas and approaches to the challenges facing the guild. Sadly, Spuge decided to quit WoW shortly after the Wrath expansion was released.
Minaith joined AoT in August 2005 just as AoT started raiding Molten Core and his excellent playing skills were evident right from the start. Outside of raids he spent most of his time helping out his guild mates with quests or dungeons and could always be counted on to lend a hand when asked. His aspirations were very high, however, and after a couple of years he decided to leave AoT for the top raiding guild on our server. He still keeps in contact with some of our members today.
Cinque joined AoT in October of 2007 and has been a valued member ever since. She is probably the most optimistic person the guild has ever known and her optimism is only outdone by her generosity. Cinque spent countless hours farming herbs and other mats for the guild to ensure that our supply of raiding flasks in Wrath would always be more than sufficient for our needs. Her devotion to AoT is unmatched.
Zascha is one of our few real female players. Determined and hard working, her bubbly, bright personality and humour have lightened many a dull raid moment. She has served as both class leader and raid assistant.
Glodd joined AoT in late 2006 and has been an active and committed member ever since. As AoT progressed through end-game raiding in TBC he became more and more involved in raid coordination and after WotLK launched he became a full member of the Raid Management Team. In February of 2009 he took on the additional responsibility of Officer. Glodd is also responsible for all guild artwork and if you haven’t seen it for yourself then I recommend that you go back to our front page and have a better look.
A member since September 2006, Gart has established himself as a cornerstone in AoT’s raiding. After a short WoW break in 2007 he returned during TBC and became a key player in ensuring our raid success as we progressed through SSC, Mt. Hyjal and Black Temple. In February 2008 Gart was elected as an Officer and he also took it upon himself to setup and run weekly sign-up raids. Gart was also instrumental in the complete reworking of our boss tactics write-ups. Creating a standard layout and incorporating spell links and videos he has created exceptionally professional tactics summaries.
