[Heroic] Lord Jaraxxus: Dead!

After the beasts, it was time to chew some Big Red™. 10-ish wipes later he was eating dirt. Kind of a let down.

My gut feeling tells me it won't be that easy with the next encounter, though...

[Heroic] Beasts of Northrend - Dead!

Lady Vashj - about 60 wipes.
Prince Kael'Thas - let's say about 80 wipes.
Archimonde - pretty much 100 wipes.

Northrend Beasts on Heroic 25-man... a whopping 188 wipes. One hundred and eighty-eight. Let that sink in for a while.

...

And now they're all dead. Whoa. It's like the end of an era. An era of pain, suffering and bloodshot eyes all around. Never again. Till next week.

[Hard 1/1] Mimiron: Doused!

After Freya's triple buffed demise in 10-man (not on this page due to general numbnutting and update muppetry...) we took on Mimiron, inarguably the hardest keeper hard mode in all of Ulduar. After some running around like headless (and broiled) chickens, flapping arms and screaming something among the lines of "IT BURNS! WHY DOES IT HURT SO?!", V-07-TR-0N succumbed to our tenacious efforts to bring it down.

Granted, we had a few out-of-the-line gear upgrades by now, but stilll no walk in the park. Good job.

Now, AoT, meet Algalon, Raid Destroyer, Devourer of Tears, Ascender to the Heavens and Leaver After One Hour. Jolly good fun, that one.

Raid Tactics Updated: Anub'arak

*cough*

Well.. I seem to have missed writing a tactic for Anub'arak in the Coliseum. So, here goes. You can find the tactic in the side menu on the left ;)

Or you follow this link: http://www.aotguild.eu/content/anubarak

[Hard 1/1] Thorim: Divorced!

In an amazing Double K.O. we finally took that hurdle and defeated Thorim while Sif was siffing her siffy face all over the arena in 25-man. Well siffed everyone. Really well siffed.

This means 2/4 keepers down in hard mode. Can you hear us knockin', Algalon?

Onyxia: Dead (yet again)!

So, just like everyone else, we took patch 3.2.2 as an invitation to open another can of Whup-Ass on the Queen of Ultimate Raid Devastation, Ms. Deep Breath herself, Onyxia (reprise). To be honest, all we really needed was some Diet Whup-Ass. Still, I'd rather have her revamped than, say, old-timey Magtheridon. *shudder*

[Heroic] Lord Jaraxxus: Dead!

Again, this one comes a wee bit late-ish, but what with the guild meet and my vacation, plus no-one else being arsed to do it, here it goes:

Jaraxxus is no more on 10-man heroic. However, he wasn't much to begin with anyway.

[Heroic] Beasts of Northrend: (Allegedly) Dead!

Well, what can I say. It is nice that people can beat pretty damn hard encounters without my presence. Means I don't have to stick around all the time. However, I would like it even more, if they could hit that "Print Screen" button every once in a while. Sheesh. It's not rocket surgery.

Still, well done on beating one of the, objectively, most unfair encounters in WoW history. On to the next one.

Anub'arak: Dead (yet again)!

So, we squished a bug. Like, yay. Still fail to see what the big deal is. After we had that rolled-up newspaper, it sure was a breeze...

Twin Val'kyrs: Dead!

There is a place and time for everything; and the time for noting that we killed the Twin Val'kyrs more than two weeks ago is now! It doesn't have anything to do with a lazy dorf or antyhing. Not at all. No, siree. Yay, AoT! ;<.<

Note to self: Save twin threesome innuendo for heroic mode!
